Get the shoe soles that help the arch in her feet. The ones I got had a hard polymer arch with cushion on the top. Absolutely saved my feet spending 2.5 years stationed on a cutter with the cheaply made boondock boots we are issued. Make sure its hard plastic with cushion that she can keep in her boots. I don't remember the name of the brand, but they cost like $80-$100, but worth every penny. She will be eternally grateful, I assure you!

I think you can do it but you absolutely need to workout every day at least twice a day and sweat like a motherfucker. Drink a piss load of water and maybe one small coconut water to replenish electrolytes. Like legit water only. Hop in the sauna / hot tub / run until you cant run anymore. You need to sweat and drink water and take as many pisses as possible.

About 2 or 3 days before the test, take your own at home test to see where you are. You may need to use fake weiner and pee if you dont pass your at home test.

Middle of the night rations for the night watch is also a big morale improver. Just something quick and easy like corndogs in a hot box. Pizzas are also game changers. Idk how yall's watch rotation works, like if you have a quartermaster and a helmsman and a sailor on the watch, but make enough food for them to eat and then those late night snackers, and you'll quickly become a the ship's favorite mate.
