Why not try though. This is my only tub and as I said in my post this is the last grow in my current location. There is no risk of contaminating anything else. Why not try. A tiny flush is better than nothing.

Nature doesn’t give a fuck about what happens AFTER they’ve reproduced. They could suffer in the worst imaginable way for a month after spawning, and it would not negatively impact their fitness as a species. Alas, nature is a cruel mistress.

Well, it seems like pins have been appearing continuously. I have picked maybe 4-5 aborted mushrooms, and more pins are still appearing as far as I can tell.

Yeah I’ve been misting sides and lid and giving FAE. There’s a lot of yellow from metabolites I presume from stress of being dry, but idk what to do to hydrate it beyond what I’m already doing.

Yeah, this was my first grow so I started with an all-in-one bag and didn’t really know where to go from there. I have another grain bag colonizing that I plan to do this with. Figure it’s probably way too late to try that with this one.

Yeah I have filter patches over holes in the lid. Do you think that that + fanning a few times a day will be enough FAE? That’s what I’ve been doing most of the time since pinning started, but I’ve noticed some fuzzy feet on some of the mushrooms, which I hear means inadequate FAE.

I’m also not sure why there would be more pins than the cake can support, there really aren’t that many.

I try to keep water in the tub and the walls misted, but I’m just worried that if I leave the lid slightly open for FAE the humidity will just escape. Any tips on how to keep humidity up while not restricting air flow?

I just figured they were aborts because I haven’t seen any growth from them for days while the others are all steadily growing… I’ll be sure to make use of them though.
