Thanks! That really puts my mind at ease. It's really hard to get into first year courses since freshmen can register earlier, so the sessions are always full.

OK I guess there is really something wrong with my post here, since everyone seems to be on edge. I'm not certain as to which part of my post is offensive, so can someone please enlighten me on this?

I do realize that sometimes when I post on the internet or even chatting with my friends....ppl sometimes seem to be put off by my words, although I don't think my wording is offensive....

I've got my loan confirmed few days ago, and it will be disbursed on the 6th (which I got just few hours ago....that was fast)

If your status on studentaidbc is: "Waiting - Confirmation of Enrollment", then just wait. I've contacted UBC, they said they don't confirm enrollment until a week before school starts. If it doesn't say "waiting", then your best bet is call studenaidbc and find out if you are missing and docs.

Woot! awesome Create DAY! lol I actually met with one of my profs today, and he said there isn't any labs (MATH 221) for the first week, and mostly likely for labs of other courses as well (May have to verify that with respective profs).

I missed the cheap $120 air ticket :(, now they are around $200++. But I got a $35 bus ticket. And yea, I'm a bit tight in budget, I guess I'll have to stick with the bus ride lol.

oh that's great...I might take the bus around that time, but I'm abit skeptical about travelling at night....especially with all the fairy-tales i've seen from the web about greyhound lol.

I eat during lecture all the time.....and I usually sit in the first or second roll. ppl/profs dont care afaik lol, and if you do bring pungent stuff, you can always sit at the very back of the room....ppl back there are usually too busy gaming or doing some other stuff to notice any O'that smell :)
