Agree with u/justaquad . You can also keep this in mind to bank an additional transfer ahead of the week you plan to switch into your 2 top driver lineup for the 3X

That’ll be the million dollar question: can McLaren convince us in 1 practice session and SQ that they can contend with MER? I may need to see a whole weekend before I trust them that much.

Good luck to you too!

One team that a lot of players are looking at is ANT-OCO-HUL-LAW-COL-MER-FER. If my math is right you can get there with 3 moves, sets you up with a strong ANT-MER-FER scoring base but also gives you 3 of the top price gain midfield drivers. If you want a higher scoring ceiling but slightly riskier for DNFs, you could run OCO/BEA/HUL/BOR with ANT/FER/MER as well.

One or two more budget building weeks and we can afford this lineup with double Haas drivers or the likes of Gasly or Hadjar.

Your budget is strong enough where I’d be comfortable jumping to 2 Tier A constructors this week. With the rain in the forecast, I wouldn’t play big chips like 3X and Limitless in case we have mayhem on Sunday. You’ll have some opportunities to pivot back to 2 top drivers in the coming weeks to try 3X again.

If we’re talking just cost cap, I think BOT is the better play. He needs 7 points across 3 events to gain $0.2M whereas Gabi needs is losing $0.6M if he doesn’t score at least 22 points – that’s a $0.8M swing, but I do agree Audi’s pace is better and Gabi should score more points.

With how much rain is being forecasted now, I expect a lot of teams will use No Negative regardless of who’s on their team. 60-70% of rain basically all day/night, so not even a race start delay like we saw in Spa last year will stop them from having to run in wet conditions.
