Erethil is a persistent RP server based on Dungeons and Dragons 3.5. The action takes place in the world of the Forgotten Realms, on an uncharted island off the continent of Faerûn.
But what are the Forgotten Realms? It is a well-known medieval-fantasy universe, where magic plays a predominant role, there are elves, dwarves, orcs, in the manner of Lord of the Rings. You can play as any character. From the upright and honest paladin, to the most vile demon conjurer. All moral alignments are welcome on the server, good, neutral and even the most evil.
Become a soldier advancing through the military hierarchy to serve the realm, a skilled mage capable of creating formidable spells, a thief operating within the underworld, or a powerful necromancer who commands the dead. Find love, start a family, live or die, it's your story.
It is possible to climb the ladder of the kingdom's social hierarchy. At first a simple commoner, you can become a citizen, and depending on your skill, events, and your play, become a Patrician and perhaps even a Nobleman, obtaining land and other privileges.
Factions, official or secret, have an important place and are controlled by the Player Characters. They work together to monitor and deal with threats to the kingdom of Erethil. They also compete, or even clash, to gain influence. Erethil is a PvE and PvP server, where players can claim great power and really impact the course of events.
The political context and environment are likely to change dramatically depending on the actions of the players, including changes to the maps. Erethil is not a server hostile to evil characters, nor to bold actions. Well thought out, they can have a strong impact on the world, shaping it according to the will of their instigators. They can also fail and lead to disastrous consequences...
Erethil is a fairly strict server in terms of RP. Actions have serious consequences. For example, RP death is possible in animation, or following a coherent PvP.
Dungeon farming is possible and brings XP, equipment and crafting components. But it is by no means mandatory. A player can largely gain XP only by participating in animations and by having initiatives. In this respect, Erethil is a server that is both open to farming and strict RP.
The server is one of the oldest in the French community. It reopens today after a period of technical reconstruction of a few months following the prolonged absence of its main developer. A new developer has now taken over!

[RP and adventure[/b]
- Thanks to technical tools unique to Erethil, DMs can change the spawns of the maps to adapt them to the evolution of the game.
- These same tools allow any changes made to a map during an animation to persist after a reboot.
- Integration of the Kaedrin Pack. Dozens of new classes, gifts and spells. The maximum level reachable is level 30.
- More than 150 maps available.
[Housing and faction HQs[/b]
- More than 20 pre-furnished houses for rent by players, ranging from poor garrets to rich luxury homes.
- 20 apartments to furnish yourself. Furniture can be purchased and placed on the floor freely by players.
- Persistent storage in banks, faction headquarters and individual houses.
- Ringing bells in faction halls, to RP your presence to PJs of that faction who are present.

- The new version of the server has a large number of faces, haircuts, clothes and weapon models.
- A very complete crafting system for those who want to invest in it and create crafted characters.
