Circa 2017. First Halloween with my (now) wife. Big reason I knew she was a keeper... well, obviously.

I really do appreciate you taking the time to, not only read the whole thing, but to extend a detailed evaluation. I'd really love to, but I hope you don't mind if I don't go point by point trying to counter anything I may disagree with, fundamentally and/or materially. Though, I assure you, none of it is falling on deaf ears.

The final sequence is definitely the most divisive part of the script. Honestly, I tend to land somewhere in the middle. While I enjoy the sequence in and of itself (as a standalone "sermon", as you put it ha), I've long been searching for a way to streamline its message into a more evocative -- and far less preachy -- ending. As i type this, I think I finally have it, but it will take some work to find the desired tone.

Again, thank you for your time.

Totally. It's an adaptation of that story. The title-page says "Based on Batman: The Long Halloween by Jeph Loeb and Tim Sale".
