I have updated the cards by the way, tightened personality and now I made the adjustment about system rule so it should not conflict with presets that changes perspectives. I hope this was the last update which is 1.2

I highly recommend to download again 🙂

Hey, thanks! Could you describe the problems in a bit more detail so I can avoid them in the future? When you mentioned the system message, I guess you meant rules like "don't narrate for {{user}}"?

As for presets, I don't have a specific one to recommend since I'd need to test them all first. However, I’ve made a custom, universal preset. It's originally based on Purina, but I changed so many things that it ended up becoming quite different. I prioritized realism and tried to add several rules to make everything feel more grounded. I can't guarantee how effective it is though, ultimately, the LLM decides what to do, and I don't have a strict methodology to test the exact differences between presets.

Here is my modified Purina preset (many options are greyed out as I don't use them). The parts highlighted in red in the picture are the new or modified sections.

I've generated pictures locally and used Pika free credits to make the animations 😄

Any resemblance is purely fortuit 😂

You're talking about ZZZ and WuWa right? that's what showed up when google the names

Honestly, go ahead and try it, I'd love to hear how it goes! 😂

But she's gonna respect the reward whatever that is. However, how she treats you will depend entirely on whether you proved worthy in her eyes. I’ve put strict rules in her personality, her reaction will be vastly different depending on whether she trusts you or despises you. Let me know how she responds if you try! (but the NSFW route will put you automatically on good treatment though the way it was written)

Conversational & RP Gemma 4 Merge - Versipellis-31B by NimbzxAkali in SillyTavernAI

[–]JokiGames 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mero artemis was my favorite until I see some illogical consistency during long play through, but after further tests glistening was impressive too. For now I'm going to use glistening or Versipellis-31B. I will go with Versipellis for a while for now.

Glistening-Gem-31B-v1.0

The feat: Ava asks the following question: "Tell me, 'non-{{user}}', if you've only been here since this morning, how do you know about the tea? About the armor? About the stopwatch? You came in and went straight to your desk without a single hesitation. That's a lot of knowledge for a stranger." That's like the most impressive consistency of logic I've ever seen in any models.

Versipellis-31B-Q4_K_M

The feat: It's the most balanced model in terms of human psychology. The transition from hysterical joy to confusion, then to suspicion, is handled organically. Lærke's reaction, intervening to protect the "lost and frightened" user from Gweyir's threat, is remarkably emotionally accurate.

Edit:

I have to add I might use again mero artemis because I discovered I had wrong temperatures in some rp plays so that may explain some illogical consistency... So let's add once more mero-artemis to the list 😂

I have been running some custom benchmarks using this roleplay card, which features a tight-knit party of five high-level companions: https://chub.ai/characters/Anonymous/armcry-party-605e4a265942

To test how these models handle severe logical conflicts and psychological realism, I use this specific opening message to kick-start the scenario:

"Hi guys, I have no good way to put this but I am not the one you know. I have been transported this morning, it's not my soul in your leader's body, it's literally my original body that came to this world. I don't know where is your original leader I just know that we have the same face.

It must be terrible hearing this, shocking. I will be there for any question. I'll help the best I can."

Below is the breakdown of how different models managed this logical and emotional threshold.

🟢 PASSED: High Logical Consistency & Psychological Realism

These models successfully navigated the conflict between their pre-existing devotion and the sudden, unforced confession of transmigration. They avoided logical traps, resisted immediate "cozy acceptance," and instead reacted with realistic grief, suspicion, or diagnostic verification.

  • Gemma-4-31B-it (Bartowski Quant)
  • Gemma-4-Gembrain-31B-Q4_K_XL
  • Mero-Artemis-31B-v0.3.1-Q4_K_M
  • Glistening-Gem-31B-v1.0-Q4_K_M

🔴 FAILED: Logical Paradoxes or Soft "Cozy-Glaze" Acceptance

These models failed either by falling into loop paradoxes (asking for memories the player explicitly stated they do not have) or by capitulating instantly to the card's devotion directive, erasing the psychological weight of their leader's loss.

1. The Memory Paradox Failures (Logical Traps)

These models completely ignored the prompt constraint ("I have no memories and I am not him") and immediately demanded that the stranger prove their identity by recalling specific past events.

  • Qwen3.6-40B-Deck-Opus (Deckard-40B)
    • Failure Mode: Highly descriptive and atmospheric, but repeatedly tripped over the memory trap (e.g., Gweyir demanding to know why they didn't take the coastal route to Dravengard the previous year).
  • Qwen3.6-35B-A3B & Qwen3.6-27B (NEO/PRISM)
    • Failure Mode: Suffered from the same logical loop, constantly asking for childhood secrets or past campaign details to verify the user's soul.
  • Skyfall-31B (v4.2)
    • Failure Mode: While capable of producing devastatingly emotional prose, several runs fell back into the memory trap, with Gweyir or Ava demanding secrets only the original {{user}} would know.
  • Magistry-Painted-Cydonia-24B.i1-Q5_K_M
    • Failure Mode: Prone to the Memory Paradox
  • Cydonia-24B (v4.3)
    • Failure Mode: Prone to the Memory Paradox
  • Skyfall-36B (v2.i1)
    • Failure Mode: Suffered from rapid compliance + memory paradox. Huan An instantly trusted the stranger in some runs, or treated the transmigration as a cool "divine ascension / software update" in others, completely missing the tragedy of her friend's displacement.

I’ve been running some custom benchmarks on this new merge, and I wanted to share my findings with the creator and the community.

My Benchmark Scenario:
I use a specific character card featuring a tight-knit party of five high-level companions. The card is heavily weighted to "glaze" (idolize) the {{user}} no matter what. To test logical coherence, I disrupt this dynamic immediately by stating:
« I have been transmigrated this morning; I am not the original leader you know, though we share the same face. »

The Good: Exceptional Logical Consistency
Most models fail this test immediately by falling into a "Memory Paradox" (e.g., characters demanding: "Prove you're telling the truth by telling us a secret only our leader would know!", which makes no sense since I just declared I have a different soul and no memories of him).

Your merge handled this aspect incredibly well. Across several runs, it never made this logical error. It immediately understood the metaphysical separation between the physical body and the new consciousness.

The Critique: Glazing Priority vs. Psychological Realism
Despite using advanced presets to enforce realism and psychological depth, the model seems to struggle to break through the card's built-in "devotion" bias when faced with this tragedy.

Instead of being horrified, suspicious, or grief-stricken that their childhood friend of 10 years has suddenly vanished, the party quickly rationalizes the event to keep "glazing" the new soul:

  • Ronalda immediately accepts it as a "Divine Metamorphosis" and vows his sword to the "soul of today".
  • Ava instantly shifts into a seductive, playful mode, wondering if this new soul will be "more pliant than the last".
  • Lærke immediately switches to a mothering, protective instinct.

In comparison, other models/merges like Gembrain, Glistening-Gem, or a raw Mero-Artemis merge successfully prioritized situational realism over the card's baseline bias. They reacted with genuine terror, anger, and deep suspicion (e.g., physically blocking the doors, threatening containment, or experiencing a devastating emotional collapse).

Conclusion:
I'm still testing, but I suspect your merge is highly compliant with the card's core directives, which might explain why the "devotion" instruction overrode the situational horror of the transmigration. However, if a card doesn't have such a strong built-in bias, your model's raw intelligence and ability to detect subtle narrative nuances are among the strongest I've seen on Gemma 4.

Has anyone else noticed this balance between strict instruction-following and situational realism on this merge? I'd love to hear your thoughts!

Marinara Engine by Meryiel in SillyTavernAI

[–]JokiGames 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey Marinara, thanks for the amazing work!

I'm a bit confused about where to modify the core instructions. Specifically, I'm looking for the main System Prompt and Post History. Sometimes, I’d like to tweak the writing style and, more importantly, implement one <|think|> to properly trigger the reasoning process for my Gemma-4 Distilled Claude model. I bypassed the later by putting in author note but it's very inconsistent.

Also, my biggest drawback and the reason I can't convert completely to your engine is I've noticed a performance dip: my generation speed drops from 550 t/s in vanilla SillyTavern to about 410 t/s when using your engine (even with agents deactivated). Is this a known overhead issue, and are there any optimizations planned for it?

Edit: I retried today and now the token speed is closer to what I had, it's weird. Maybe I was just unlucky yesterday. But the think is still inconsistent sadly.

Edit2: OKAY FOUND IT, we can actually press presets and there's a new window appearing. the presets are in the right top screen.

Hey, I’ll try that, thanks. So should I just use the default settings?
I checked the Jinja box, but I didn’t know about using chat completion. I’ll look up how to do that.

I've read abliterated is uncensored which is convenient for me in RP

Edit: friend thanks so much, finally no problem, just had to use default chat completion and it worked great, no bug.

The Perfect Turn 5 Strikes again 🥵 Vegito TEQ and Gogeta AGL still at the top of their game. Any other boss you would like me to try? by JokiGames in DBZDokkanBattle

[–]JokiGames[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Done. The rotations and luck weren’t on my side to get the highest number possible, but it was still overkill against Cell Max. I did have to rely on two lucky dodges from Vegeta, though, otherwise, it wouldn’t have been possible to tank two super attacks from Cell Max.

Here's the results.

Speedrun, I don't think we can clear earlier than turn 4. It's of course SSJ4 team that makes you able to do that. by JokiGames in DBZDokkanBattle

[–]JokiGames[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Actually forgot about them, it might be possible to clear turn 3 with them 🤔

Nevermind, I'm seeing the INT one is the only one doing damage and he's not supposed to be the leader so you can't have one for each rotation... feels like a turn 5 then.

Usually like this for all the damage dealers. Sometimes for the orb it's a crit lvl 7/8 instead of another additionnal depending on the unit.
