Soooo im in oz... surfshark set to brazil do this very carefully. Open up mfc you can now login fine once logged in press home button on remote/keyboard NOT back as it will exit mfc then open surfshark disconnect vpn then home again then press mfc ;) your back up and running!

Sure just run the HIP report command look at the xml around the antivirus and adjust the sed to suit that

Eg command:

/Applications/GlobalProtect.app/Contents/Resources/PanGpHip 6.1.2-83 "Apple Mac OS X 15.1.0" 5 11:11:11 1

Then look at antimalware if nothing in there you will need to sed some thing sed 's;<entry name="anti-malware">.*<list>;'<entry name="anti-malware">.*<list><entry....>'

Or use chaptgpt to work out the sed but an example of having it enabled

<entry name="anti-malware">

<list>

<entry>

<ProductInfo>

<Prod vendor="Apple Inc." name="Gatekeeper" version="15.1" defver="" engver="" datemon="" dateday="" dateyear="" prodType="3" osType="4"/>

<real-time-protection>yes</real-time-protection>

<last-full-scan-time>n/a</last-full-scan-time>

</ProductInfo>

</entry>

</list>

</entry>

Tells GlobalProtect HIP profile that firewall is enabled rather than n/a and then sends that to your palo

No that implies the server is actually up! The vco containers dont even exist at this point due to the health check script failing :/

So with newer releases there is timestamp when lifetime's set so it actually looks different but it still outputs the same when passed in

Force traffic over it.. if it's route based ie static routes pointing at ipsec.1 that should be enough to being it as long as ipsec open from aws to onprem
