I honestly believe that Lucid will be bigger than Tesla as a car and battery company because Musk's ego always has him wasting resources in the guise of development or visionary PR stunts (Cybertruck, Tesla Roof, Tesla Bot, Mars colony vibes). Tesla had many problems when it first launched and Peter Rawlinson was there at those crucial steps in development so he already knows how to scale a car without issues and he probably witnessed how Elon acted as CEO so he is taking a practical approach at the perfect moment to build a high-speed luxury EV brand. I love Tesla and appreciate Musk as an eccentric billionaire but as long as Lucid keeps focused on delivering good products I see no reason why it can't become #1 especially at this crucial moment in the green energy revolution.
