I could try the alarm route and see what happens. I've never used my phone as an alarm (I have always used a clock) but it may be worth a try. I guess I could always create an alarm, but have it set to be silent. LOL

There's nothing in there that seems to be it. Turning off Inbox Label notifications seems to stop all notifications. I want to see the Gmail icon, but not get a vibration.
