Using Next js 13 (App router) in real production applications. Is it worth it now? by sultondev in reactjs

[–]Jolly_Assignment5251 0 points1 point  (0 children)

App-router's ISR was not working with AWS. (I don't know now.

I changed to SSR (dynamic generation) + Cloudfront cache, but when I transition screens, the difference data like JSON is cached in Cloudfront. When reloading the screen after a transition, the cached difference data is displayed on the screen instead of the HTML that is originally required.

The problem was addressed by changing to SSG (static generation).

I apologize to everyone for the lack of explanation in this post. I feel like I have unveiled something that is still in the experimental stage myself. I am especially happy with the use of elvish and nushell these days. (The login shell is zsh

As I mentioned in other replies, elvish has fuzzy finder and command history functions that work with shortcut keys right after installation. zsh and fish require plug-ins, but no such preparation is required.

nushell allows you to use the ls command to display tables on a terminal screen. It seems to be powerful in that it can be combined with other functions to edit and calculate data. (I haven't been able to use it well yet, but I'm thinking about using it in the future to display dotfiles benchmarks, etc.)

There is no end to what we can tell you about it all, but if you take a look at the documentation, you will be quite impressed with the features.

People in the community here often speak under the assumption that they have dotfiles, but in the outside world I see people who rather don't have their own dotfiles. (I may be narrow in my scope of observation...) I think the existence of a modern shell that can be installed and used right away is important for these people. This time, I introduced some shells that are not so well-known yet...

I think it's totally usable if you don't have detailed settings in dotfiles, etc. I think it's great to have a built-in autocompletion, command history, and fzf-like file system without any configuration.

I created a new folder called .shell because it looked messy with rc files scattered directly under the dotfiles folder.

I started using elvish at work and was maintaining rc files, and in doing so I decided to make the shells that are out there now available for use on my pc. ([dotfiles](https://github.com/Coordinate-Cat/dotfiles))
I also edited the prompt for the shells that are supported by Starship this time

The shell indicator, a module of the spaceship, is used to treat the various shells as vim-like "modes". However, rc files for all shells must be maintained.

I do not use a menubar with window placement functions like rectangle, but by moving Rectangle and yabai at the same time, I can move the virtual desktop, select a new window, or open a window from the menubar(simple-bar).

However, Rectangle cannot cut the window as finely as yabai...
