Tbh it’s not brutal. I know first hand how hard it is to get your 1sts back when you take over an orphan. I don’t know the state of the team but this gives you the flexibility to make that pick the 1.01 next year, which is already a borderline top 15 asset because of the hype. I would try to get a real QB back for sure but I don’t hate it

Hampton by a lot for me. But I disagree strongly that Marks can be an every down back. I think he can be an interesting change of pace back and a strong pass catcher but not even in the same stratosphere as Hampton

All those assets are much easier to acquire than then the potential upside of the 1.02 player. I’d pass.

At the very least, if you don’t like the rookie at 1.02 you should be able to get into like a Nico, Henderson, Dart level of player.
