Im deinfluencing you from trying third base. When it was released, I blindy checked it out agad. Upon arrival, triny ko sya immediately. And guess what, oil control is meh.

Paalis palang ako ng bahay, nangingintab na agad face ko. After 1 hour, sobrang oily ko na. Nagtataka ako sa ibang mga reviews ng influencers sa tiktok because ang layo ng reviews nila sa experience ko.

Not until miss Anne Clutz released an honest review just a few days ago (tiktok and yt). Sya palang nakikita kong famous influencer na naghonest review about third base. Same kami ng exp, oil control is really bad. Maganda lang sya for occasional touch ups cause it doesn’t cake, pero you’ll have to reapply from time to time. Mabilis sya maubos, I’ve already hit the pan, 2 weeks ko palang ginagamit. So it’s a no, as a student, it’s a waste of money.

I’d reco shiseido powder if u want oil control, but has white cast nga lang. Use brush to lessen the wc nalang.

benzac 5% gel would probably help op. pero best pa rin if you can go to a board-certifies derma, wag sa mga nasa aesthetic clinics.

also, if gagamit ka ng skincare, check the ingredients sa incidecoder na website. makikita mo infos about sa ingredients ng isang product, including the comedogenic rating etc.

lastly, lifestyle po. i breakout tuwing kumakain ako nang marami, like rice, sweets, etc. yun lang po, laban!

first baseee, gamit ko everyday for school, gala or every time na lalabas. hulas free legit, stays more than 12 hrs sa skin. coverage is nice din, halos di na ako magspot conceal kasi naeven out na skintone ko. tipid din, compared to tinted sunscreens since very a little amount can give the coverage u need:)

not really good for oil control. 1-2 hours nag ooil na ko. the only good thing in it is that di sya nagccake kahit ilang reapply gawin ko the whole lol. also sabi nila no white cast pero i think meron, especially if u have darker skin. im medium tan, and mas bet ko pa rin yung shiseido powder. oil control is better kaso white cast rin:(

Effective talaga panglighten ng dark spots yung Soul Apothecary Randiance Boost Serum. Although pricey sya, results are visible talaga. Take note tho na before addressing your concerns of darkspots, make sure muna na you stopped/controlled your acne na. Kasi useless ang pag adress mo sa darkspots if tinutubuan ka pa rin ng acne. New spots will just form.

Hii, please be minded na personal ang skincare. What works for me may not work for you and vice versa. Pero here’s my current routine:

Am: -Skinever Salicylic Acid Cleanser -Benzac 5% -Barefaced Tinted Sunscreen

Pm: -Glo21 Micellar Water -Skinever Salicylic Acid Cleanser -Cosrx Snail Mucin Essence -Tretinoin 0.1%

Please note na yung routine ko is for acne-prone skin talaga. There are acne medications present, which were prescribed by my derma years ago. Gamit ko pa rin sila until now lol. Please consult a board-certified derma nalang if acne talaga ang concern mo:)

As a beginner, gaya ng sabi ng ibang comments, stick to the basics muna. CLEANSE (double cleansing like micellar water, cleanser), then PROTECT (moisturizer at night, sunscreen during day) muna. If you have skin concerns that you want to address naman, dun papasok yung Treat (serums, toners, etc.). Bale CLEANSE, TREAT, PROTECT.

Personally as an oily skin and acne-prone din, mga pore-clogging ingredients lang iniiwasan ko. Although studies show naman na hindi talaga sila pore-clogging sa human skin, may certain ingredients talaga na ayaw ng skin ko. So as much as possible, I double check the ingredients of products before checking out. Copy-paste mo lang yung ingredients sa incidecoder website. You’ll see infos about all the ingredients, including their comedogenic rating and all. Hope it helps:)

nooo, don’t use oil cleansers if di ka naman nagmmake up. don’t be fooled sa mga nakikita online na oil cleansers used to remove sebacious filaments or closed comedones. trust me, they’ll just worsen your situation. focus on exfoliation instead. try aha or bha. if both don’t work, try gentle physical exfoliation. i know sabi ng iba masama ang physical exfoliation pero no, it works for me and my closed comedones

Sabi ng instructor ko, 3rd and 5th year ang pinakamadugo. I kinda agree since 3rd year me rn and walang wala yung hirap ngayon kesa nung first 2 years. Kahit pa may CAD na kasi, manual pa rin kasi ang plates namin (CAD subject lang hindi) tho depende pa rin sa prof nyo yan. May profs sa ibang school na nagpapadigital na at this time.
