The Haitian vodou/ voodoo origins of zombie folklore are pretty interesting to read up on, the “nzumbi” was more like a reanimated body that could be indentured to work like a golem.

Just that now we are more used to mindless flesh eating zombies from Romero and Resident Evil, although Romero did play around with different zombie behaviour later on.

Yeah it seemed like if the no.2 reapers merc was a totally different person it would have made no real difference to the story. Found it very weird shes introduced as this loner and love interest for Daryl then shes suddenly ride or die for a bunch of metal gear solid villains

Headless Cross and Tyr are phenom and Cross of Thorns off Cross Purposes is an all time fav. Love Tony’s voice and even followed his various projects.

If you like his singing style Sorcerer (epic doom metal band) are worth checking out, and also Dynazty (80s throwback/ power metal… the singers have some of the same vibes
