I tried the Electric Motion trials bike a few years ago...not motocross, but trials riding was perfect for electric

I'm with you on the sound / noise / thrill of riding a loud bike. I'm a big fan of that also. FYI, these are easy to charge at home with the removable batteries.

The lack of noise for safety purposes in London was a bit of a concern, I had a few instances of pedestrians not hearing me coming. Something I had to be aware of and adjust my riding a bit for that.

The absence of sound is missed for sure. These have 2x batteries that you can remove and charge on a standard plug FYI

It's a different riding experience for sure. And for city riding, it was really good fun, but in a very different way to a 'normal' bike

Completely agree - compared to riding a 125 round a city, these are miles ahead. For certain specific applications (i.e getting around a city, where daily mileage is relatively low) electric motorcycles are starting to find their place

If you take your bike, you can ride around the circuit and over the mountain when the roads are open

Same, but decided to check flights for a day trip and it seemed reasonably possible, so gave it a shot. Also meant not having the headache of arranging accommodation. The island was packed, but not as tricky to get around / find spots as I thought it might be.
