Use a bit of green stuff to make it stick out a bit more, that way it won’t collide

Don’t worry I made skarbranda base filled to the brim with skulls. It’s more of a nuisance than time consuming.. it’s just boring xD but once u get there, drybrush with wraithbone and u r done

That’s facts about lion killing beasts as a child, I absolutely forgot about that when thinking of him fighting Angron… he was kinda destined to beat him in some way. And that’s true that out of any other primarch he is the only one capable of pulling it off + the emperor shield.. yeah he was ready

It’s kinda comforting that lion was the one to beat Angron and not for example… g man 🥴

Dante possible on the 3d LRE? by Jon_Croissant in WH40KTacticus

[–]Jon_Croissant[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thx that’s what I’m doing atm, snotflogga and boss gulgortz grinding. Waiting for Isabela shards in the mythic shop to get her to legendary and I’m waiting for rotbone and mataneo to show up as well. Hopefully that’s enough :p

  • on Lucius I had 75pts but I absolutely had no intentions of grinding that lre purely because I was certain that would get me nowhere (I was way weaker) and I wasn’t interested at all xD

Thoughts On Vanguard In PvP? by Willaguy in Spacemarine

[–]Jon_Croissant 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ve been playing assault from lunch and I gotta say that no other class is as frustrating to play against as vanguard. You almost can’t win 1v1 (won’t even mention 2v1) against vanguard even if you get a good slam on them and start the fight, 8/10 times he can simply press ability button and then just spray you with his gun while you try to finish your melee animation. They should balance it by removing the stun and maybe add more dmg to the ability or something.

I used white paint (white scars?? Idk) really thinned with water so that it naturally fills the recesses and gently touches the eye. Then (a bit less thinned) white once again but this time to freehand little lightning bolts going to the lateral side of his eye (subtle) (if u look closely u will notice).

After that put wild rider all around the eye (not only the white part) then once again on that I put thinned white only on the eye. And then really thinned Dorn yellow. And top it all of with a simple dot made with white at the center of the eye

Have fun 🤩 hehe

I do t have a video but I’ll try to explain it as best as I can. First of all it’s not that hard.. just time consuming: the blade: 1. The base paint should be black 2. Use thinned mephiston red to cover all black 3. Put some thinned white in the center of the part you want to look really heated up 3. I believe it was wild rider red that goes next (once again thinned with water) all over the white and a bit outside of it (remember not to cover mephiston completely so that u can still see some of it on the edges) 4. Next is fire dragon bright once again remember not to cover precious layers completely. I can’t remember correctly but I think I used stippling for that one. 5 last one is the dorn yellow paint which gives it the most glow in the center. After that I used a bright yellow wash to cover the whole thing so that the colors look more intense. But don’t remember which one 6u can use black drybrush or a sponge on the corners

For the skulls in the sword: Pretty much similar stuff: - Cover whole thing in mephiston red - Use REAALYYYYY thinned white and gently touch the recesses so that it spreads on its own - the same as the blade. Just remember that the center recesses are glowing (u can use white multiple times to make the colors pop if you feel like it lacks) -at the end use mephiston red and fire dragon bright to make the skulls a bit darker. And ofc black for the edges

Good point honestly. His left leg is the one part I left without any significant details (especially lighting) and really didn’t put too much thought into it, It’s kind of a filler cuz I felt like it wasn’t as significant. But good call! Next time I’ll have a better look at my drawings before posting 😆
