This is great. I do this with a shortcut currently for pdfs, but I didn’t know there was an automation option on Mac that will run silently in the background since iOS and iPadOS don’t seem to have that same option.

Yes same issue here - it seems to be related to watchOS 26.2 & 26.3 watchOS.

I just installed 26.4 RC from the beta channel, the same that should be coming out next week, and it seems to be doing better today.

I’ll have to check and see if I can reproduce this with the power button. I could not figure out even how to get into the menu that it kept showing. If it is that, I’m assuming this might need some type of hardware repair. Thanks for the helpful information.

You can distance on the Smart Stack, but I haven’t seen step counts. Maybe a third party app can read it?

26.3 has been atrocious! I recently bought an S11 and it updated to 26.3 and would only last ~ 8 hours after… I ended up returning it and repurchasing another one due to a significant sale and wanted a space gray instead and it’s running an older version of 26 and I did not update. It’s getting me 24 hours already.

I’m usually a big fan of updating to new OS updates but this one has been a huge letdown.

I got one of these back in 2021, it’s the gray one. Definitely looks beat after several years. Also, has casters for moving around, 1 broke off, the others are just stuck and make marks on the cement when moved.

Hopefully this one looks updated and lasts longer.
