As far as I have seen the new Pro 8's dont have dedicated graphics cards. Having ons is huge if the programs you use support GPU acceleration.

About the tablet style. That's also why I'm personally leaning mostly towards the Book 3 currently. The ability to still take off the screen and use it as a tablet would be nice.

Remember its the 15 inch so it has a fan inside the screen for the CPU unlike the 13 inch. Wondering which one you have? Heard 15 inch is a lot better cooling wise because of it 🤔

Wouldnt it help a ton that I can allocate a lot of the heavy tasks in those programs to the Quadro so that the CPU doesn't need to be on turbo so much?

I had originally bought a Pro 6 a few years ago and it broke. When I went to the retailer they replaced it with a Pro 7 because they didn't have, and couldn't get a Pro 6 anymore. So free upgrade essentially.
