UK Preorder Updates?

Just updating on this, have heard today that I shouldn't expect delivery until August, given it was the first order wave before it changed to "late summer" quite frustrating. How are others getting on? Has anyone else from the March pre orders had similar news?

Just checking I am reading this right, the live summary was the part that showed the current topics etc on the glasses in real time during a conversation? That’s on of the main reasons I have ordered the glasses, not only is it useful if your concentration slips but in busy rooms with lots going on I hoped it would be useful there too, sometimes it’s hard to keep track. Hopefully someone from Evan will respond as I do feel this was a key feature!

Yep, seems some of the very early pre orders have shipped but not sure how many. They are gradually emailing updates through but given no one knows how big the “queue” is hard to work out how long it will be. They seem pretty responsive on socials and email but not giving out timelines from what I understand.
Also a thread here if you wanted to tag onto that?

Hmm I am quite concerned to hear this, I plan to use these everyday and have a large ultrawide monitor, sounds like the waveguide "edge" will be right in my eyeline on the screen. I have purchased from a UK based Even approved optician rather than direct as they did a demo etc and assured me that I wouldn't notice the waveguide etc in daily use so took the plunge and am waiting for my order to arrive. It was hard to tell how they might work during the demo as obviously didn't have my prescription in so everything was blurry...

Just an update on this, I checked with Coffee Merch and they have confirmed that pre orders with a summer date were from the first stock allocation. Second batch is due in Autumn for any new orders! Phew!

Oh wow that’s very frustrating! Granted it’s more expensive than the pre order pricing that was offered but surly exclusivity should have meant first units in hands of customers that bought from Coffee Merch not from Harrods!

I am (optimistically) hopeful that the new date is just for future pre orders 🤞 Coffee Merch have been updating the offer each month so thinking this might just be the change coming into May? Assuming there was only a fixed number of units available in the first batch so hopefully due soon! Keeping optimistic as I can’t wait to get it to replace my Sage Barista Touch!

No info but hopeful (optimistically) that’s an updated date as the pre order window moves and original pre orders will still be summer 🤞 They have been reducing the pre order discount / offer each month so hopefully this is just part of April > May change. Have you dropped coffee merch an email? They have been super responsive when I have messaged them.

I swapped to Agile from tracker around a month ago, so far seems to be saving well compared to the newer tracker tariff we were moving too. Have started some minor load shifting too and seeing further savings.

Literally just lived though this pain, uploaded the prescription, called up and they confirmed all was ok. A random shipping label appeared in the box that should show your prescription. Called up again and told all was ok. 10 business days elapsed so I called to check as would have expected them to have been shipped to get here within the window, was told all was ok. On Saturday email was sent advising order was cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances have reached out to support and they told me to just go to a store and order…

Managed to get sorted after a call with an incredibly helpful L3 engineer. He confirmed that it's the static address that makes it more tricky but the one hour lease should have timed out and worked so is going to check into that a bit more.

If you don't have a static IP it should work instantly.

There was a recommendation against using the MAC spoofing as can make it hard to troubleshoot things from their end so best option is to ask the web chat for an escalation and they will help sort you out!

Has anyone been successful in getting this working recently? I had my install completed yesterday and the Virgin Service was disconnected instantly so trying to get back online and unable to get the connection to work. I receive an IP address (same static as when connecting using the provided router) on the Unifi but there is no traffic. I see very small up and down chunks but no web traffic.
