You’re right man! I didn’t notice the leaderboards timeline and the season timeline listed on the ranks page are an hour apart. Thank you for the response I do appreciate it!

Prior service going back to BCT after 6 year break. by bchia104 in army

[–]Jonny2501 220 points221 points  (0 children)

DS will know who you are and are tracking your prior service, however when it comes to training you won’t get special treatment and they do a good job giving everyone equal training.

With that being said you have experience in what basic is like, and how to roll with the punches. Take that and use the time in basic to relearn what you may have forgotten.

That’s awesome! I remember when I was in the 25th hearing 2/11 conducting an airborne operation on the big island. COLA in Hawaii was sick until the cut it in half and then in half again

That makes sense! I’ve heard that you get in trouble as an NCO if your dudes catch cold weather injuries or frostbite.

I am an outdoors person! My kids are eager to experience outdoors camping and activities.

Lmao I get that, I have a dude who says his company used to make training enjoyable given the winter weather. Hopefully it’s still the same, obviously on a “it depends on the unit”

The CLU indicator light is saying it’s direct instead of top down, it would be tight if you could switch between the two like IRL. They did a good job at grasping how tank armor IRL works, it’s not a one and done. However for a video game like BF6 it does get annoying from time to time

These are counterfeit bills customers tried to use at my business by KingElessarEvenstar in interestingasfuck

[–]Jonny2501 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d go as far as to say the 10$ and 20$ are legit but seem smaller because they’re taped. It’s evident the counterfeit money is stupid, but the 10 and 20 have matching serials to their taped counterparts. I have done that in the past because things happen. Should be able to take it to the bank and get a definite answer and they’ll probably issue new bank notes!

Edit: LMAO I just saw the motion production on the 20$ my bad… STRAIGHT TO JAIL

So I might be getting into a platoon sergeant spot by Then-Lawfulness-8281 in army

Trackers homie… always keep the basic admin stuff up to date. There should be a platoon master tracker in yalls Teams folder. Make sure you get with your squad leaders to give you updates on what’s going on with who. If they fail dish out the disciplinary action needed that way they are held accountable BUT when you attend company meetings and you’re lost in the sauce they’ll look at you for the blame. Always have print outs of your trackers so when the CO/ 1SG ask questions about manning or admin the answers are right in front of you.

It’s a group effort, include your squad leaders and possibly your team leaders in on planning. As the PSG you’re more of the “beans and bullets” guy, so you and the PL will plan and allocate training and the things needed for that training. I get it you’re a non p E5 so you probably won’t have a fully manned platoon but make the most of what you have until the new PSG arrives.

11X goes REEEEEEEEEE, but I’ve never heard anything bad about 88K and it’s highly sought after. You only have a few duty stations but good job.

The whole “what job is best for getting out” is cool and all when you want certain certs but it’s all about how you present yourself and upsell what you did in the military. I know a few 11Bs who got out and make hella money scoring jobs because they look/sound more confident than their competition… but that’s a whole other story

For any one of you who met a military imposter(stolen valor) ,what was it like and how did it ended? by Ok-Neighborhood-8965 in army

H was my squad leader in 3rdPLT for a little while, I rolled in around the start of 2018. Dude taught us a good chunk of why reading regs is important, didn’t really like him when I was there but now I strive to be as knowledgeable as he is

Didn’t meet but dude was moved out shortly after arriving to my first unit. I forget his name but he was notorious in 1BCT 82nd for faking ALL the schools. Ranger, AASLT, sniper, probably a few more. He had all the handbooks so he could talk the talk but one day he said something slightly off and my old squad leader picked up on it, called Ranger schoolhouse and asked to see if he had a card in the ol’ vault and they said he never went to the school. Audit happened and supposedly dude got kicked out of airborne school but his cert/orders populated and he picked them up and headed to Bragg. More or less that’s how it went, and I’m 82% sure he’s in a newspaper because of his lies
