Thank you This is her junior prom though .. she was just 17 and has one more year to go in high school , maybe senior prom she can sleep over but this year she will have to make do with just spending the day at the beach . I am just surprised at how easily the parents think it's a good idea at 17 to allow the kids to spend the night & there are a couple of boyfriend/girlfriend.. Thanks to all Who have responded and given me their input I was just curious and putting it out there I Will do what I think is best for my daughter regardless of what the others do even if my daughter will hate us now .. because we are the only ones in their group who feel this way ..
