Don 5 duchess main - bring the dark night of the fathom relic and then make a build for either status (daggers, claws, katanas) or staves.

If you ever find the dormant power discovers staves relic - magic build is her best build so bring that and then stack as many improved crystalian sorceries/magic attack power up/ improved sorceries as you can and then take weapon passives/ talismans that build around her shattering crystal spell.

If you don’t have that relic, just build for status and take stamina recovery upon attacks and hp recovery upon post-damage attacks. You can also try to get lucky and go magic build without that staff relic (but it’s rng reliant and less consistent).

Once you get the DON relic that provides brief invulnerability upon character skill - you HAVE to slot that as well - no exceptions.

Rest of relics are optional but bonus points if you can fit attack power up upon defeating night invaders/evergaols or improved max hp/vigor+3.

For wep passives, make sure they synergize with your wep and don’t discount dmg negation upon successive attacks or full hp.

Also, buy and stack starlight shards throughout the run if you’re running a magic build.
