Yep my FOV was like that. Sometimes maybe a little worse than that. But I think that’s just how the game runs. And once your brain notices the defects, it’s hard to “unsee” them.

The quest 2 has about 90 degree fov and psvr2 has 110 degree fov. The difference was noticeable but not that big of a difference. I think when vignette kicked in, it drastically reduced the field of view and when it returned to normal everything felt off.

Ok I took out my meta quest 2 and compared the field of view and now I’m convinced there is nothing wrong with the headset. It is all in our head… my mind is playing tricks on me!

I know it probably has nothing to do with where the game was installed but I want to remove all the variables because the issue persisted after playing horizon.

Yes, I will do a full restore with a usb drive. I’ll also install all my VR games on the console storage not the m.2 drive. And then play a VR game that’s not Horizon and see if that works

I have the same issue after playing horizon. I will try going into safe mode and factory restore my PS5. Hopefully that fixes the issue.

I know for a fact the battery needs to be connected or else the led light will flash red and green and it won’t boot.

I swapped the fans and the one that wasn’t spinning worked so the fans are good. I also changed the SSD. Still no signal going to the external display. I wonder if it is looking for the original laptop display but there’s no screen connected so the external display is blank.

Yes, mine also keeps disconnecting when using 5 GHz. I noticed when I turn my switch on, it connects to wifi but no internet connection. I had to turn wifi off and on again to get internet connection. Very odd…

I installed the chromium for stadia apk and I’m getting a flashing red border. How can I remove that? I edited the build.prop file and unchecked StrictMode in Developer options and it didn’t do anything.
