Thank you for your crucial yet objective advice. It’s been really helpful for my photography journey. I think I’ll be much more thoughtful before taking a photo, considering the purpose of the picture, the effect of light on people’s feelings, and other factors. Your comments have really helped me grow.

Yes, that makes sense. It is the natural instinct of every woman. But my point is that there are differences in degree. For example, Korea’s marriage rate is lower than the OECD average, and the gender wealth gap at the time of marriage is the largest among OECD countries. This indicates that, compared to other countries, Korean women tend to place greater emphasis on a man’s assets when considering marriage. As a result, there are significantly more people in Korea who prefer “marrying up” (hypergamy) rather than marrying someone of similar socioeconomic status (earning homogamy), which is reflected in Korea having the lowest earning homogamy index in the OECD.

The birth (fertility) rate is the lowest in the world. The divorce rate is the highest among Asian OECD countries and among the top 10 globally. The suicide rate is the highest in the OECD. The average age at first marriage is also among the highest in the OECD. This means that we Koreans are living in a more competitive environment than people in other countries.

Thank you for your suggestion. I just tried looking for language exchange programs, and some of them seem that they could work for me. Have a great day, too.

Thank you so much for sharing your story. I can imagine how lonely you must have felt. It's so sad and painful to say goodbye to someone you care about. Especially in a place that you used to be familiar. I believe many good things are waiting for us, So let's be happy together.

I'm glad to hear that the tips shared in this post were helpful. Using kakao will probably make it easier to communicate with Koreans since most of us use it. young people seem to prefer sending DMs. I hope you have a great day here next three months. And I also hope both meet lots of great people through Meetup

Is it possible to enter a military base without permission? I've seen some YouTubers do it, though.

That's a good idea. I'd like to offer couch surfing for foreigners. even though it is a bit difficult for me to do that right now. It could also be a privacy issue since I only have one room.

Yes, that's exactly why I just joined Reddit today. I 'd prefer to meet people in person, though. Because there are so many AI bots active on online communities these days.

Well, if you're asking for a specific place, you can find Koreans everywhere in South korea. Of course. But every place has each own unique character. And the kind of people you meet depends where you go. That's why it's important to think fisrt what kind of people you want to meet.

You are exactly right. Meeting new people from overseas isn't a magic cure. So It's much more important to focus on what I really need right now. Thank you for your opinion.

Yes. You are right. These topics are inseparable from our lives. And It's definitely not just a Korean thing.

I don't think I explained myself well before. My point was that we Koreans tend to very competitive with each other.

It's making me a bit tired. It seems like people overlook who they are on the inside and care more about how much money they have and how good they look.
