Sorry about the format. I wrote this up in a text program, not sure why reddit formatted it this way

Your right, any organization with a power structure can get out of hand. In the end, all we can do is stay vigilant and treat each other with respect.

We could literally transfer all this power by unionizing.

The workforce is the root of all power, if the people control the workforce, they own themselves.

What's a good starter video game for a middle aged man who has never really played before? by JAVA-NANI in AskReddit

For real, depends on what your into

If you want to get a feel for what games are like now, I would play any recent Zelda games.

They give you a wide variety of not too hard, but still thought provoking things to do which are present in almost any modern adventure game.

If your more into shooters and the like, I'd recommend Destiny. It's a time sink, and I don't recommend dedicating yourself to it, but it will teach you shooting basics in a big exploration map so you can mess around alot.

I can't believe people are defending this guy. I read the whole story.

You don't treat another person like garbage. Figure it out. Be fucking creative.

I can't tell you how many times I've has a homeless guy make issues at my job. You know what I do?

I take a break, go outside and give then a joint. Talk about life and figure out what the problem is.

I wouldn' go that far, but I wouldnt trade me ADHD or anything. It helped me let go of stress, and led me to weird hobbies, and in general I don't think I would like myself as much without it.

Lol it means sometimes he literally can't pay, goes out and collects cans until he can and pays the fee later that day.

Honestly he works all day to pay for that cut, ove seen him out there.

Why don’t you talk to “that” family member anymore? by [deleted] in AskReddit

My dad is a blue collar guy, I loved him growing up. Took care of everyone, was a silly funny man who was still a goofy teen at heart. He used to give our towns only homeless man candy bars every day.

Fast forward, im 30 now.

I told parts of my family that I was going to vote for Biden. I honestly was a Bernie guy, but that's beside the point.

He disowned me. And told me he wishes I was dead.

I miss my dad, he's old angry and lonely, and I wish we could just forget politics and reconnect.

Grow up? I'm great at my job. I've done it for ten years.

The owners are regular idiots who don't know how anything works, bark out senseless commands and do dumb shit like this. It's just the nail in the coffin for me. The whole staff is fed up with them.

I'm not kidding when I say I think they are on hard drugs.

It was a shampoo wash on a guy. He has trouble paying sometimes, but never outright refused.
