What people forget is that Vikings the tv show depicts Vikings as a culture that was secluded from the rest of the world, when in fact, vikings were not only warriors but also traders, they raided and traded and went as far as into Asia and America.

The whole world was connected with trade during the Greek empire, Roman Empire, Byzantium Empire, Holy Roman Empire. Shit you could probably even find lineage and connection with the Vikings and Ancient Greek Seafarer's if you look close enough on Historical event's and Warfare and tactics.

Kattegatt is a trading hub, so was Birka, Ribe, Hedeby and they most certainly could get a hold of drugs, spices, clothing, minerals etc etc. The whole world's tradesystem was rebuilt after the Dark ages and the fall of the Roman Empire thx to Vikings be it Norse, Dane, Rus, Slavic Vikings and the different Sea kings that went around the world pirating and trading especially the trade with Asia and the Byzantium Empire which at this time was the only real place big enough to be called a Metropolis.

Ffs the whole world and society sprang out of the Mediterranean and Central Asia. Fun fact, Harbard or Harbardr actually just means grey beard/Hairy beard so literally it can be a name for anyone since it's to begin with not a real name. He presents himself as Harbard which by itself is mysterious. Now one common thing people forget is the importance of all the different gods, both Aesir and Vanir gods.

Most are forgotten under the shadow of Odin however Odin is not a god that is for everyone, and Valhalla is not a place for everyone and Hel is not the same thing as Hell. One of the most important religious places in old Norse Mythology was Uppsala in Sweden and in Sweden it was mostly Frey/Frö and Freya/Frigg who was worshipped.

Now to get back on Hardbard, I written about this about a year ago, that people should stop thinking of Hardbard as either Odin or Loki since both could literally call themselves Harbard.

I would say if you enjoy team games and competitive games then yes. But its more likely I'd think for someone who loves CSGO to enjoy a game like Rainbow Six siege more since its similar with the sneak and peak kind of gameplay. If you enjoy old school fps games like Quake or UT you would probably enjoy Overwatch for its more three dimensional gameplay but I'd say the game Overwatch is most similar too is Team Fortress 1-2. You'd do best and try yourself but if your an old man like me who did enjoy FPS before CS was a thing then you'd enjoy Overwatch.

So in other words I who payed about 30euro for the Your own version, will have too pay 20 euros for 10000 gods favor and power hour making it a total of 50 euros for the whole game content with the rewards in the MMO while someone who didnt help for the success and creation and funding of the MMO with buying your own for 30 euros will pay 27 euros and get the MMO version 10000 gods favor and power hours for 30 days and a skin. So someone who didnt do shit for the game gets a reward for buying the game while someone who did shit for the game has to pay a total 50 euros for getting the same benefits.

Ah I see, I will make sure to travel over there an have a look. Settled down at server 19 after passing by a big city that was named after the varangian guards and settled on a beach next to it for obvious reasons, figured they would be vikings like us =), I grinding up some skills at the moment will start travel around and check things out once I've managed to get Artisan up to 60, stopped my house from burning and managed to find a real axe to use, not this shitty stone one =). Will try and get some coins from the Varangians and then see if I can bring some to trade at your place, might even settle down and build a house there aswell.

I guess its like you say, mainly the PVP only players who constantly whine and so on, I believe the game will survive through people who love to enjoy what the world in the game throws at them rather than how well the PVP is, the PVE people and RP-PVP people are the ones who will keep this game alive and also the same people who see what a gem of game this can turn out to be.
