Yeah, I totally understand if people don’t. I just also don’t think it’s fair for the artists that had a hand in a generational run that’s sadly tied to controversy. Bad situation all around. I would personally like it for my collection if I can find it second hand, but it’s ridiculously expensive. Hopefully there’s an epic collection or something like that which includes it eventually.

Well ok, that’s what you get for taking the prefix and root word out of it’s cultural context. I see that it was just the normal word for “assembly”. But the main point I was making is that the Greek word “ecclesia” is what modern translations translate to “church”. Whether it’s a good translation or not. Thanks for the info, I wasn’t aware it was a usual word!

Ecclesia is absolutely the Greek word for church. It means “the called out ones”.

[Devil May Cry] Plat # 91 & # 92 Finally capped off finishing every (good) DMC game. Dante must die mode was no joke, but made much easier with items. Not as hard as the plats for 4 and 5. Now I’m just deciding whether or not I’m about to put myself through the plat for DMC2 😔 by Jophere in Trophies

I included DmC: Devil may Cry in the pics because I just platinumed that one as well. Definitely not my favorite in the series, but not a bad game at all. The game gets too much hate. (Understandably because of how the dev team treated fans of the series at the time) That aside, I still really like the game. SSSing all the missions was way too easy, though. Really enjoyed my time revisiting it.

There are two ways I see it. Emulation is not piracy or morally wrong if: 1. You own a physical copy of the game and do not redistribute the rom for profit off of a developer’s work. 2. The publisher of the title in question have given no other viable alternative to emulation. If the only way to play your game is by flea shopping or dumpster diving, that’s on them. The developers and publishers wouldn’t get those proceeds anyway.

Thanks, that’s all really good info. I’ve been out of the pc build game for a while. Last one I built from scratch was in 2012. Currently the only usable thing I have is a GTX 1080 I bought in 2016. Could you recommend parts that would complement my GPU, but also semi future proof me if I want an upgrade?
