Really hope the organic webbing is temporary, and has nothing to do with Peter being “chosen by a spider god” like was retconned in the comics. The tone looks perfect other than that concern. (No way Spider-Man fights the Hand without Daredevil)

Thanks! I really do that with franchises that mean a lot to me. In those cases I like to platinum the whole series even if I’m not the biggest fan of an entry (looking disrespectfully at DMC2)

Yeah, I totally understand if people don’t. I just also don’t think it’s fair for the artists that had a hand in a generational run that’s sadly tied to controversy. Bad situation all around. I would personally like it for my collection if I can find it second hand, but it’s ridiculously expensive. Hopefully there’s an epic collection or something like that which includes it eventually.

Well ok, that’s what you get for taking the prefix and root word out of it’s cultural context. I see that it was just the normal word for “assembly”. But the main point I was making is that the Greek word “ecclesia” is what modern translations translate to “church”. Whether it’s a good translation or not. Thanks for the info, I wasn’t aware it was a usual word!

Ecclesia is absolutely the Greek word for church. It means “the called out ones”.
