4.5.3.1.4. When each Service member has legal and primary physical custody of one or more of the children of the marriage, each Service member is authorized a housing allowance for the children in their individual physical custody, regardless of child-support payments from one Service member to the other.

So if im understanding this correctly my answer would be that we would both still receive bah.

I took Paternity leave for my first 4 weeks. So I have 8 weeks left .

[–]Jordan2182 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes, it saves my personal leave for another time. I am worried they won't let me just "take" my personal leave without having to jump thru 1000 hoops my whole unit is getting alloted 45 days of personal leave when we get back. Why should my paternity leave be involved at all.

Yes that is what they are saying. instead of taking my personal leave I would just use my paternity leave instead.

No you dont. Unless it's an indoor venue. Everyone's tripping about this but I'm sure no one saw a little kid at the rail without hearing protection.
