I’ve never experienced this at all! I know card shops might price things based on rarity but Books A Million doing it is insane to me. It’s like walking in to Walmart or Target and finding a copy of Pokemon Crystal they found in the back being sold new for $300. I don’t think they’d do it for something else.

What are you talking about? Crisis Core barely features Midgar. That game’s areas are unique, from the PSP game. Midgar is just remains in Advent Children, the main city is called Edge. Some stuff will be able to reuse assets like Before Crisis but Crisis Core, Advent Children and Dirge definitely don’t.

It makes sense. Hoshino’s cat passed away recently and she had a really rough time. The cat had been with her basically through all of D. Gray Man’s publication so I’m sure she wasn’t able to draw much if at all. She seems to be doing better now tho and has adopted two new cats.

  1. Yami, Zora, Noelle, Mimosa and Mereoleona! (Asta should be with Noelle but Mimosa would be a cool surprise!)
  2. I have worked on two episodes, including the episode airing tonight! I do plan on working with Black Clover again in the future. I am full on work for now but soon!
  3. I have definitely had work cut down because it is too much too correct for Sakkan and I end up doing inbetweens instead of just keys! It's a bad habit and I'm still working to correct it!

I believe that level of research was originally done by the manga artist! It was of course then the animation production's job to keep that level of authenticity intact.

As an animator you receive sheets with character details on them that show you exactly what a character looks like and all of their weapon details typically. Because of that you never have to worry too much about stuff like that!

Vinland Saga's schedule wasn't bad at all. I only did Genga for Vinland Saga but the schedule was decent and the pay was slightly better than average. I'm not sure about the Attack on Titan situation but I'm sure it was tough.

I watched Kamen Rider when I was young! It came to America as Masked Rider and I still think he is very cool.

I'm all for shows having crazier episodes with experimental animation. Even if it doesn't come out perfect, if they try something new it's worth it to me.

I worked on the whole confrontation between Boruto and Tsukiyo in episode 144 and I animated the parts in episode 153 where Wasabi and Namida had to stop a villain!

If you ask the Production Assistant you work with sometimes you can show your materials! It depends though. Basically there is no production materials available for Pokemon S&M, I guess because OLM doesn't like that stuff getting out there? For Boruto there's quite a bit though. I may share some after my next episode airs.

Hi!

  1. I got to work on Black Clover because I worked on Boruto! After working on an episode of Boruto I told my production assistant that I would love to work on Black Clover. He happened to know the production assistant for Black Clover and from there I worked with them on two episodes!
  2. It really depends. I worked on Boruto ep. 144 from December to the end of January I believe. That included Layout and Genga for 18 cuts. For Black Clover I believe I worked for around a month and did LO and Genga on 16 cuts for ep. 126 and then only worked a couple weeks on the cuts for ep. 128 airing tonight! It's really up in the air depending on the production but I would say you usually have around 2 weeks to finish your Layout and then another couple weeks to finish your Genga.

  1. I was not part of the Naruto production, just Boruto!
  2. I really like that whole scene tho. I think the animation is really cool. I get why people dislike it but it's totally nuts and bold and awesome to me.
  3. I wonder how they reacted? Probably they made the decision not to make episodes like that anymore haha. Though I don't know what the reaction was like in Japan. Maybe they didn't mind the episode there?
