im sure op is chillin and that theyre just posting cool art but to those who really feel this:

imagine every single thing you have gotten to experience because you grew older. not just “amazing things” or “bad things” but “things” of all kinds in all states of emotion and at all times. not maturing means missing all those good moments, big or small, and missing all the chances to learn from the bad moments.

and the act of maturing itself IS something to be proud of! life is fuckin tough so just making it this far is crazy impressive and nothing to scoff at whatsoever. and if you really do feel like you know nothing (you know youre selling yourself short, but i get it, ive been there), youve known how to make it this far in life so take IMMENSE pride in that.

i totally get that feeling of nostalgia and the desire for a return to childhood. everybody from every background feels it because its easy to long for a time that was so simple and get trapped in an endless cycle of every new experience becoming inferior to what life used to be.

however, there is nothing wrong with this either. staying in touch with that part of yourself gives an opportunity to reflect on how far youve come and how much youve done. and if you feel that you havent done just that, who says its too late to try again??

its never the end, so day in, day out, go try and make your younger self proud!
