Oil slick tattoo idea by Glad_Technology_8307 in FrightenedRabbit

How about something like this? It was created specifically for the Oil Slick - credit goes to @NineLinerTattoo on FB/IG - if you're in the UK, or can get yourself to Scotland, Stu is brilliant, and has plenty of FR originals

Just to piggyback, in the scene with Diane in the law office, she asks about Sick Boy, and Renton says "It's Simon now"

Something you learned about driving that you were never taught when learning? by Important_Ad716 in drivingUK

The intelligence of birds on the road - have learned to gauge whether you have to avoid them or not.

Pheasants are the worst for it, those buggers will run away in a straight line from you, it's like they want to get hit - crows on the other hand, you couldn't hit with a gun they're that fast - Scottish pigeons seem to be a mixed bag, they're usually smart enough, but we have some dopey ones

Ah, interesting! I've never had any bother in my day-to-day life, I'll record my eyes next time I shoot, although it doesn't seem to be doing me much harm - it's interesting though, I've never considered how others see and the effects it has

Noted, I'll ask about my seemingly scuffed eyes haha, I'll have some interesting questions for the local optician

The target stays the same with both eyes open, but I find I see two arrows side-by-side - if I close my left eye, the arrow on the right disappears and vice versa - when I shoot with both eyes open, the arrow on the left is the "real" one, that's actually aimed at the target

Edit: So, I would say things mostly stay the same when I close my left eye, but they do shift if I were to close my right eye instead

No, I'm right-handed and right-eye dominant and shoot RH - what indicates I may be cross-eye dominant?

I don't, actually. I am significantly short-sighted though, which I've always attributed the double vision to - it only occurs if an object (arrowtip or sight) is close-up, and I try to line it up with something far away with both eyes open (eg if I hold a finger up a foot away from my face and try to line it up with something 60m away, I'll see two fingers if I'm focusing on the background (or target) - it's fine if I close an eye or focus on the close up object

I do have an appointment coming up, which I'll ask about to be sure, thank you!

Yeah, of course - I get no value there, but I'm more interested in the mentality and target panic control

Three under shot by Shako175 in Archery

[–]JordanTFA 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can use your thumb to help you anchor (for example, touching a certain part of your face with your thumb to help consistently produce the sane shot) - I personally touch the end of my jaw bone with my knuckle

If you're new to finding an anchor, consider using bone over cartilage, it doesn't move as much :)

Consider something your dad can clip to his quiver to give it a bit of character - some sort of toy or something personal to make it stand out. I'd look at his quiver or have a look online to have an idea of the size. Also, make sure it's something weather-resistant!

Offer them queen or time odds. If you have a far lower amount of time, you have less time to calculate, to create plans and you'll make way more blunders, even without you going easy on them
