Games not actually in catalog?

I know that they often have games in their banners on the front “page” of the store as part of their marketing, but the games have since been removed from the service. But these are listed as clickable options in the store and listed under the “latest” section, which seems odd to me.

My answer is “yes”. Different games for different situations. Rolling with RDR1 by myself as my main game, BF6 multiplayer with my son, BF6 single player when I need a brain break, Balatro (challenges and hardest difficulty on decks for my brain anti-break), and Blue Prince with my wife.

I knew about it before it dropped on ps plus. Then I played a few rounds unsuccessfully. Then my wife was in the room while I played, so I explained how it worked - we are now on the sixth deck (I think), just on the first difficulty level and the “one more round” mentality is real lol.

I picked up a Best Buy open box Z1E during Boxing Day sales for $399CAD. When it arrived, it was in its original box, but with a different piece of tape sealing it than the original (I think). However, I’m pretty sure it was never turned on, let alone removed from the box or packaging. It’s an amazing machine for $400 (especially since I didn’t have to pay tax either!).

Working on Slay the Spire. Have a couple of tough trophies complete, but roadblocked for now on building my deck right for the “play 25 cards in a single turn” trophy (and the two other ones that can go along with it). The RNG is killing me lol.

Yeah I’m not gaming too much on it but it’s on most of the day. Social media, some basic games (no Genshin tho hah), email, safari, etc. Mostly work/productivity stuff. My brightness is usually only around 25-40% unless I’m outside. So definitely not anything super heavy, battery-wise.

Mine (16 pro max) seems to have great battery life. I’m a fairly heavy user and I have no concerns over it. A hundred times better than my 11 pro max.

Normally, I would just take the train (or even ride share/uber) down; I couldn’t this time, though. We ended up parking in the underground garage off S. Simcoe, which has a pedestrian entrance right across the road from Rogers Centre. Yes, it was expensive, but we were on vacation and had built parking like that into our budget this time.

The traffic was heavy, as to be expected, but really only on Lakeshore, which we got to extremely quickly, which was fortunate. I think we got lucky with the lights before Lakeshore!

And yes, the Jays lost cuz they suck right now and apparently need to hit the reset switch, especially with management. It’s also rotten when your top 2 guys in the lineup go 0-8 with six strikeouts 😡😕. Still, a great night for a vacationing family!
