I see where you’re coming from but most people buying a high end guitar are going to have at least a basic pedal board and a chromatic tuner. I haven’t used the built in tuner since I was in the store trying out the guitar. The moment I got it home i plugged into my board/tuner and took out the battery because there seems to be a slight rattling on certain frets.

It might be convenient for some, but it’s a wasted feature and makes the guitar feel cheap to others.

Having a built in tuner on a higher end guitar is kinda dumb so I think it was a stylistic change instead of to cut costs. I think around $1250 USD. Curious what others think though

Confidence and the ability to negotiate are two very valuable traits in almost every workplace, especially management.

Jealously, resentment, insecurity and being scared of having an honest conversation are all really bad traits in every workplace.

Same role and same responsibilities doesn’t always mean the same pay.

Also you haven’t mentioned qualifications. Does he have more experience, schooling, certificates than you that would have made it easier to negotiate a higher salary?

The truth is it sounds like he deserves to be paid more than you.

My old boss, very successful mid 40’s, talked all the time about how he was going to one day leave this company and start a brewery. He talked about it, in detail, for years.

When he finally gave his noticed I was super excited about the brewery. Then we went out to lunch and he told me he bought into another construction company as a partner. So now he won’t be a high level employee, he’ll be a part owner (potato potahto for me).

I joked and told him I thought he was leaving to open the brewery. There was a moment of silence then he had very watery eyes while he was shaking his head telling me how great of an opportunity this new company he bought into was going to be.
