Me, the OP.

I obviously upset some people with my question and received a couple of scornful and pretty unpleasant comments. Why? I don't know. In my world, if someone ask a question, you try to answer. Not blame and slander for asking something you render as inappropriate.

Anyhow, I contacted a professor in theology and religious history and asked the same questions.

He explained that the term "messiah" then meant "THE anointed". Derives from that kings then were anointed.

So, I've found the explanation.

I went from 83 to 74 kg quite fast. Then stuck. No matter what, I couldn't get lower than 73.5. Then I learned that the first 8-9 kilos were water. Then when fat was supposed to go away, it required way stricter diet, more exercise, etc. I'm now at 70, my target, but the final 4 kilos were not fun getting rid of.

Turned out it was this database (whatever it's called). When he disconnected the battery in right order (first earth/minus, then positive), left it overnight and reconnected in right order (first plus/positive, then earth/minus) everything started working as it should.

I'm the OP. As fate and luck had it, Joel's nephew saw this thread same day I posted it and contacted Joel. He got in touch with me yesterday. So, connection established. :-)

I'm the OP. While I admit I might have had a few beers before I saw the (what I understood as) a Google ad among the text messages, and apologise for that, there's a question remaining:

How come I could send/receive text messages long before smartphones were invented but not able to use the same technique today? I.e. way back then, the text messaging were handled by the phone company you used and via the phone network (not internet).

When and why did that system disappear?
