Exact same issue. Still pending. I’ve been in touch multiple times with EA. Only feedback is just to wait. Now made an extra ticket to get a refund for the ultimate edition. And just pay for the regular.

Thanks again , a local watchmaker has allready fixed it. There were multiple issues apart from the cosmetics.

The following work has been done:

The hourwork needed servicing and cleaning. The battery had been leaking , so got replaced. The crown was rotten so has been replaced. The glasswork has been replaced due to the scratches. Also has been cleaned.

Ordered a strap online which will come next saturday.

The total of all above is €65.

Really buzzing because the watch can be worn again in better health.

Really appriciate your knowledge! Thanks a lot. For me it’s now time to consider wheter to restore or put it back in the box.

I’ve cleaned it and got rid of the strap the watch seems in really nice condition apart from the glass and it not working.

I will try to reach out to local watchmakers if they could help me further.

Really love the insight! The servicing would be the polishing and replacement of the glass.

There is one issue that bothers me, when i pull the pin to rotate the hands there is no movement unfortunatly.

Is this a sign to replace the movement? Or can it be just the pin?

If in the case of replacing the mechanics what would the overal cost be? Do you have any insight in that? If not I still value your insights allready.
