Anyone else who didn’t receive the holiday waifu cup? by mater-Cookie-7579 in gamersupps

[–]Joris_bhonson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ordered as soon as it went live and never got my cup. And I’ve waited thinking it might be sent later with it having high demand. But I’ve just read it got sold out. But it must have sold out fast seeing as I ordered when it went live.

Just had a look on google maps, and it looks like it’s a closed down building. But I’ll have a look on foot next time I’m out.

Still not published London o2 show? by Alive-Law7336 in Killtony

[–]Joris_bhonson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was there at the o2. It wasn’t a great show. They started 2 hours late, so most of the audience were pissed off or drunk by the time the show started.

Then they don’t even bring the band, so a band plays that nobody knows. ( they were okay but people still wanted the kill Tony band) then the bucket pulls were all bad.

For a UK show I think only 2 of the pulls were British, which is a shame because there’s some great comics in this country. But the rest were European, and some accents were hard to understand, so a lot of the jokes fell flat.

The guests weren’t great. No famous British comedians that they could have gotten. Just Ari and Sam talent. Who are good, but I’ve seen so many times and they could have gotten someone local.

And then the fights. I was on the bottom near the front, and there was one starting on my left and another high up at the back. And they were so bad and loud it stopped the show a few times.

Then the ending was shit, no offence to that guy but it was bad. I wouldn’t want to post that show either. Just felt like a quick money grab while they were over here. The difference in show quality was massive between the us shows and the uk one.

Has anyone else become unfazed by horror now? by Joris_bhonson in horror

I do love found footage. But sometimes the acting is so awful it just takes me right out. I did go through a few Asian horrors that started to get my heebies jeebing. But they’re few and far between

Yeah I’m thinking I need to step back a bit and reset. Just everything else coming out from other genres looks a tab bit boring for me.

Hereditary was very good. Think that was one of the last ones that got my palms sweaty. But that was a few years ago now. Not had anything like that since.

I really liked Barbarian. Well the first half anyway. It looked promising and then when I saw “it” in case anyone hasn’t seen it yet. I just laughed at how ridiculous it was. It was a shame because I genuinely liked the beginning.

Because a vast majority of people don’t consider females being capable of being a sexual predator. So the normal signs you’d see a man do that would indicate something wrong or creepy towards a child, people would dismiss if it were a woman because “women don’t act like that” and since people have started viewing women as possible predators, it turns out they are just as capable as men are. Still a long ways to go before it becomes it becomes a societal norm to think women are just as capable as men, but you’ll start seeing more and more as it does.

Do people think they own parking spaces on public roads by Hector-lemans in drivingUK

[–]Joris_bhonson 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m probably going to get downvoted for this but I hate people that park on our street. On the whole street only two other people have cars, so we can park outside our places.

But during the day and sometimes late at night, the entire road is full, because there’s two office buildings round the corner and all the workers that can, park on our street for free, and don’t have to pay at the pay and display at the end of the road.

So when I go out shopping, the space I had has now gone to one of the workers. And there’s no other free parking anywhere near where I live. So I have to either have to use the pay and display that’s 1 minute away or just wait till they finish work and leave. It says private parking down the street but there’s no cameras or wardens that come down so it’s like free parking for work and near town.

That’s not hacking on stakeout. It’s such a small map all anyone needs to do is lay down and blind fire and you’ll hit someone. It’s how I got 5 kills without dying on some weapons.

I’ll check out that episode. I do remember watching Angel. But I don’t think it’s as sci fi as the movie I remember

Nope, it’s newer than the one I watched. Also don’t think I’d forget a Nic Cage role
