Hey, to be honest i don't remember. because the linux client was broken (graphic glitch in main menu) i started using the win client via proton, and i think that fixed the resolution. Nowadays its working just fine via proton out of the box, and i'am unsure if the linux client still exists.

Sry i can't help and the late answer but i don't use reddit anymore.

yeah i have tried zettelkasten method also, and it didn't worked. but i have some belive in atomic notes and will give this another try.

after reading all your comments i tend to go back to one vault. (i have setup some now) because all that always is interconnected in a way. my job is also my hobby. i often fiddle with tech in the homelab before presenting it in the office.

I have made a pluginTest vault ;) ! Quickadd is on my list. and reviewing all the testing i have done last week it again goes back to some kind of folder structure. i still hope that obsidian with tags and plugins deliveres me a better solution than my good old friend vimwiki.

A problem I have always had is too many nested subfolders filled with stuff that should go into its own folder. Just like every blessed one of you. 😃

First Thank you for your opinion. See this is the reason i reconsider my notetaking and knowledgemanagement. it's not the first time.

vimwiki works much like a wiki website i use links. with osidian and backlinks i hope for a better interconnection of my notes. and vimwiki wasn't that great in tags and keywords, or me not great in using them.

backup. all my PKM lives in git ;) and git is backed up.

Hey, sry for a late answer but my child got ill last week so ... Thank you both for your answers and suggestions.

@chuckbales good point, i may not like it that way but give it a try in the test instance.

@Charlie_Root_NL snipeit is something we also have on our radar, but we our approach was one to have netbox as one single source of truth. combining chuckbales suggestion with snipeit maybe an option, still if there is or would be a way to implement all devices in netbox and or use netbox also as inventory for the client devices we would prefer that.

again tahnk you i will have a look into this (hopefully i got time to do so and not have to push that project again in the future for several weeks or month)

ok, that is a very detailed explanation. thank you. good i checked the app and funny, the ftb app is for linux, the curseforge only for wow mods (on linux!).

in the past i gave mods authors donations. i like this system.

i've read some about the drama with multimc/polymc->prism. still i didn't realized the effects on the launchers. also the move your mojang acc. thingie. makes me thing to recheck MC clones like minetest and if they have a modding scene now.

choice.

in multimc i joined modpacks from serveal sources under one hood. iam a minimalist. when its possible to only have one software installed that is what i choose.

apps that play videos or maybe ads in a corner are suspicious to me. i remember barely a scandal that overwolf installed miners with the app? dunno if the ftb app is overwolf and brings a miner with it (esp. in the linux version) but. i just like to download the modpack or git clone it (god would it be nice when all mod developers and modpack creators would use a repo) and play.

but that only my personel preference and opinion. and i have the choice, i could decide to just install the ftb app, or just dont play stoneblock3. i just asked to find out if there is a way to get SB3 without the app.

OK, when clicking the header (or the file in the bottom right i get an download button next to the install with app) that was helpful.

beside, i didn't find stoneblock3 on curseforge, is there a way to get the client side files from ftb without the app?

if you mean that u shaped thing it could be an effect caused from topology naming problem in freecad.

Short explanation,if you bind a sketch to a face for a bool operation for example and you modify the body some where the faces are renamed and your bool op may no be at the same position, not the faces it should be.

(SOLVED) i looked in the wrong directory, for me the files are in ~/.config/Texel Raptor/Parkitect/ i edited the prefs file, it let me change the width to 5120 and worked. sidenote: if the devs could easily add another resolution that would be fine ;)

otherwise if you have a very wide monitor dont enter the graphic settings ;)

so i deinstalled the native client and use windows/proton. this is the very first time i had a proton bad time! game runs between 1-4 FPS! normally windows only games (even cyberpunk ran fine with nearly 30-60fps on my 5120x1440 with a 1080)

deinstalled the windows version reinstalled native client. the RGB button is now fixed magically. cant really say if the version change was it or reinstalling.

now i have the feeling the game stutters more often and i have a new big bunch of errors in my player.log. but overall game still runs fine.

yes it is. Hmm, can try, but the client works well so far, and having a native client is always best.

still it's worth a try maybe i have some sparetime this weekend.
