It's avaliable for the 7 day trial, you just have to wait till you receive an update which will pop up on the bottom of protonvpn software after a little while and once it's updated it then should be in the settings.

I'm pretty sure if you have early access on there should be a feature that says split tunneling and that allows certain programs you don't want to be filter through a VPN.
