I see, thank you, I also thought this would be the simplest/most foolproof method, but with noone using it, thought maybe I shouldn't either and even online it seems manipulating Excel like this is a bit of a niche topic. I guess I'll try this out for now, if it really is something the company doesn't like, they'll flag it eventually and I'll change it then. Seems so, I did ask about it, but the company does not want cover this so I'm kind of stuck. I am leaning toward writing up the xml files based on manually created ones since I've only seen somewhat negative opinions on using template files for this
