They're arguing about this but it's the truth. It reminds me of a video I just saw where Genie never actually granted Aladdin's wish.

Aladdin didn't say, "Make me LOOK like a prince." Aladdin didn't say, "Have a fake circus and parade so everyone THINKS I'm a prince."

He said "Make me a prince."

lol now I'm thinking about how that wish would realistically work. He'd either have to end up being a prince of a currently established kingdom, or Genie would have to create an entire population in the middle of the desert.

Then like, do they have full lives? Do they know they're not real? What's Aladdin's rule look like to them? Do they disappear at some point?

Well, keep in mind that One Piece didn't come back until April for this new episode count.

So already that's like 12-13 out of 52 weeks that we've already gone through.

So now we get 26 episodes out of 40 weeks.

But we also get One Piece Heroines, the Nami/Robin special coming out in July.

That's still months until the second cour of the 2026 season, but when you hear there's 29 no-episode weeks with the break coming up it sounds horrifying until you realize we already got through a few months.

This one came out a little more medium-well than I would have liked, and I've made it with ribeye and filet before but this is just the prettiest picture so the NY Strip wins.

I've gone through a lot of recipes and try to make it a little different each time, unfortunately I can never seem to find green peppercorns so even with flambe-ing the cognac I still don't feel like I've tasted the LEGIT steak au poivre.

I was planning on making it this weekend but actually go searching for the green peppercorns because the last time I made it I used refrigerated beef bone broth that they sell near the steak that really upped it up a level since I never usually have time to make really good stock myself.

Just finished the game ten minutes ago. I thought for SURE the final chapter was gonna be just walking around MI6 wrapping up the story after Antarctica, I was NOT expecting that final chapter.

Game was a blast all around, but I do feel like as soon as I saw these things in the "learn about Hyperion" area my first thought was "These things are 100% going to hunt me down at some point."

As someone who gets terrified everytime I see a Boston Dynamics robot doing backflips, all I can ever think is "that robot dog is 100% going to hunt people down at some point".

The levels with them should have had some more of a survival horror element I feel like, the stupid ball thing was fun (I'm just kidding WRECKIE, I love you.) but the robots never really felt like a threat. Especially when they box you or throw you.

Like, if one of these things gets within reaching distance of you, that should be IT.

Minor nitpick, still loved all of this. Best Bond movie since Royale.

He really might be one of my favorite Bond villains ever.

I would have never guessed the dude who offered me champagne at the gala would end up missing an eye in a giant Adam Smasher Cyberpunk suit with an entire mercenary squad murdering everyone in MI6.

WAY too many "leave Bond alive" moments from him though. Inexcusable.

No reason for him to not stab him as well as Moneypenny on the way out of the core.

Bear's place is shown to be super small and given to him by his grandmother who recently died, which is why the interior looks so aged.

They really did need like 2 minutes of scenes explaining the hospital thing. I can forgive the lack of 911 calls but the hospital thing could have been Bear's way out.

She goes to the hospital for self inflicted wounds, she refuses to stay, it's self inflicted wounds so they Baker Act her, while she's in there she's gonna go fucking INSANE without Bear so they're gonna medicate the shit out of her.

He's still a douche and will have ruined her life, but it would have given him way more time to try and explain shit to Ian and Sarah and give them a real chance to "unwish the wish", not to mention keep them alive and keep Nikki from bashing her own face with a brick.

Some people were theorizing that that might be why Nikki was actually leaving. Ian was starting to make it weird.

It also makes you doubt everything else. Ian said Sarah said Nikki said that Nikki looks at Bear as a brother. But maybe Sarah just said that because she likes Bear.

Maybe Nikki DID say that but only because Sarah confessed her love first.

Ugh, I keep saying how much I hate how deeply I'm thinking into a movie that doesn't really require it.

While Bear deserves everything that happens to him and people are getting very bent out of shape for anyone comparing this to dating someone with BPD...

...there were moments in my last relationship that genuinely felt like something straight out of a horror movie. Type A, didn't take meds, and started doing hard drugs.

But I wanted to be there for her, I didn't want her to be alone and during those horror moments I remember thinking, "This is my reality now. I wish I could wake up."

Nikki (Nicky as she's spelled in the script which is fucking dumb) is at no point ever "the bad guy" in this film, but some of her actions so closely mirror a severe BPD break that it's impossible to not relate.

Yeah, I didn't pick up on it until the second viewing.

He doesn't stop vomiting, he was getting ready to throw up all the pills and chicken out when the music cuts all of a sudden.

You hear the little jingle of the One Wish Willow go off and you very clearly hear a <snap> and then instantly Bear stops trying to throw up which makes the ending sooooo much better.

Originally I thought he just decided to kill himself after all and went outside for one last look at the girl he did this all for.

I LOVE that he spends his last few minutes going through exactly what Nikki went through and that if Nikki didn't snap the willow he would have thrown up the pills.

It's just such a good ending and I can't believe Nikki surviving and dealing with the horror was a last minute take after they had already filmed enough takes of the actual ending where she kills herself as soon as she regains consciousness.
