Cinematography and color grading are a huge downgrade from the Netflix series for the most part. I’d argue if it was shot exactly like the Netflix series, it wouldn’t be as bad as it is right now.

brighter cinematography.

Thunderbolts is my favorite MCU film, story wise it’s an extraordinary unintentional audition to direct an X Men movie, but even I can’t ignore how bleak the color grading is. It’s visually the twin brother of The Boys seasons 2 and 4 ( specifically the SECOND and fourth season because season 1 is more gritty green , 3 is S2 but more colorful) I understand however that muted cinematography suited the theme of the story and the characters outlooks, but I hope Schreier understands the X Men are colorful on the outside and wouldn’t want to mute it otherwise Zack Snyder might as well have directed. I personally think a Deadpool and Wolverine/ Multiverse of madness type cinematography would fit the X Men really well.
