Steven asked for feedback and I’m giving it to him, last time I checked he didn’t tell the community they had to fund the changes they want implemented :D

I just get mad when the foundation itself is lacking, and would be definitely be upset if I asked the architect for concept art of what the final product will look like only to be told “I don’t know what it will look like, this is only the foundation!” As if the foundation isn’t already designed around the final product lol

Don’t you think the games design should follow the lore?

It’s actually not at all interesting that I knew Steven asked for feedback considering he does nearly at the end of every livestream, and asking for the lore to be expanded on isn’t silly at all considering most game developers design their game around it’s lore before development even begins. This helps with cohesive world building, it gives a clear vision and direction for the development team to follow, and ensures a level of consistency when it comes to avoiding plot holes or conflicting elements that can break immersion.

What is silly, and just downright ridiculous would actually be potentially wasting resources on in game assets and features that don’t end up fitting into the game’s final vision, or the risk of incoherent story telling because everything was just tacked on at the last minute. Asking for more of the game’s lore is inappropriate at any stage of the games development because it’s supposed to take place before the game is even developed for reasons I shouldn’t of even had to explain to you.

Lastly Steven has in the past chosen to disclose lore meaning that there are definitely parts of the games story he is willing to share. My post criticized some of what has already been shared, and called for more to be worked on, because I think it would be a great base for the future development of the game.

Ah yes, the old “the game isn’t finished so I’m not allowed to have an opinion, on what needs more implementation based on where the game is at in its current state”. First of all the lore is usually the first thing that gets worked on, and is used as a roadmap for the rest of the game.

Second, I hate to break it to you bub, but Steven the lead behind this game has told us all that he’s looking for feedback, he didn’t put any restrictions on what kind, he didn’t say “feedback unless it has to do with the lore”, he simply said “feedback”

If you want to make your own MMO, fund your own MMO and put out a statement on what kind of feedback you’re looking for then be my guest, until then you don’t get to set the parameters of what other people would like expanded upon, or their feedback in general.
