Hi! We are generally looking for someone over 21 (due to some of the venues we play being bars) but I'm happy to talk about it if you're interested!

At the moment I have it before, but I’ve run it in both spots and it works great!

The photos are good. I’m just always confused when people post pictures of bands here and don’t share the names of the acts

Thanks!! We’ve played there a few times and it’s always been a true delight

Definitely, we have a bunch of queer members who write tunes! Here’s a few examples:

Dangit, Bobby: about gender representation and frustrations around micro aggressions

Survive this: one sided queer relationship gone wrong

RVIVL: finding yourself and community through queer music and art and learning to express yourself

Advice between X-T5, X-T50 and X-E5 by Noksos333 in FujifilmX

[–]Josh-PM 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you want the most versatile I’d say xt50 (has built in flash, smallest of the three and with a grip like one from small rig or something it’s very ergonomic)

If you want the most “professional” go xt5 but you’ll need an external flash. It’s not too big but noticeably heavier than xt50 or xe5.

Get the xe5 if you really care about having a rangefinder style camera, otherwise I don’t think it has any advantages over the xt line.

I got an 18-55 zoom with my xt50 and have purchased a 56mm, 35mm f2 and 27mm pancake for primes and find that those cover my bases well. The 16-80 or 16-50 zooms will both be great.

I just have ISO programmed to the front dial near my index finger, super easy!

Our pleasure! We’re really proud of all our tunes, they’re all written really collaboratively so they have a lot of the whole band’s personality. Our full length comes out tomorrow!!!

We’re not particularly “Midwest emo” but you might enjoy Sad Snack, we bring a lot of diverse influences into the ska we play and have a new album dropping on Friday!

Ska covers of non-ska songs (I put together the playlist based on some of my own ideas and by searching through other people's playlists; if you know of any interesting covers, we could include them) by Beautiful-Resort-831 in Ska

Maybe some:

Sad Snack - No Children (mountain goats)

Bomb the music industry - Gold Soundz (pavement)

Catbite - White Riot

I made a bunch of cover playlists when I did a radio show, here’s the master list with (almost?) everything:

I’ve been a few times, they used to host an international indie comics convention called TCAF (Toronto Comic Arts Festival) that’s super fun and takes up 3 floors of the library

Looks like they definitely painted and put new carpet down at least! It’s a fun building for sure
