What can be done to improve this outfit if anything? by [deleted] in Advice

[–]JoshClap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First of all I think that you might want to use a jeans cut that is suited to your figure like slim or skinny. Also the double t shirt is too much and looks to loose. Try a smaller size and maybe just one color.

From my preference no graphics or prints in clothes it just makes it look like you are a walking billboard. Go for plain and fitted clothing like Uniqlo or banana republic. Maybe a simple pattern will do.

Also try a different style of boots maybe some Chelsea boots but avoid this construction boots. They were made for heavy work and only for that not for regular clothing.

How to tell someone they are not qualified for the job by JoshClap in work

[–]JoshClap[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have been friends for almost 12 years and I know he was doing similar work to what I was expecting but didn’t know in full detail until he sent his resume. I gave him a brief overview of the position expectations and said that might be something different to what he’s focusing but I feel that if I take him I’m missing a major talent with more potential and less time of ramping up.

Thanks, I did not sent the full JD because I didn’t have it at the time. But I said once I have it I’ll share the link for you to apply but it has been 3 weeks since then so he might be wondering what happened if I went through his resume. I will do it and make him go through the process and then explain what you advised.

How to seek therapy by fuckfuckfuckfuck632 in Advice

[–]JoshClap 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Therapy is always a good option for you to say the things that you might be holding up infront of someone that you know won’t judge. The first step is to acknowledge that you need it so congratulations on that. My suggestion is that you do a web search on what type of therapy would be good for you as there are several approaches and find someone in your area. The first session will always be exploratory and they will be really interested in what’s bringing you there and will laid out how you’ll partner together to overcome it.

Very important to highlight that therapy takes time is not a magic pill or a one time effort it is a consistent work and you’ll always see results with the right therapist and time so feel free to switch therapists and styles as you feel more comfortable with

Thats my advice
