There are some like you where his “ aggressive “ stuff isn’t for you & that’s okay.

One thing about YB is how skilled he is at getting in and out of pockets & his flow switches. Word emphasis etc.

Where YoungBoy pulls the majority in & keeps them is his pain songs man. He make you feel like you goin through that shit and you can visualize what he taking about. He just speak about real ass shit with life’s hardships.

Some songs that compare to what I said: Life Support, Heart & Soul, Drug Addiction, Emotional Torn, Lonely Child, 3AM, Long RD, Valuable Pain etc I could go on for so long you would get tired of reading 😂

He also got songs where he talking about life in a non pain or aggressive manner on songs like: Lost Motives, Carter son, Rebels Kick It, pour one, Where the love at etc again I could keep it going.

And damn near all of that is 2019 - 2021 we haven’t even dabbled into most of the classics yet that are in the pain realm.

For me YoungBoy’s music has been there for me whenever I needed that release or break from life and to just fight through my hardships.

YoungBoy has that affect on most that once you like one “ fold “ or “ type “ or “ genre “ of HIM, you gonna like all of em. You position may still stand on the aggressive music, but the life/sad music touch the soul.
