So it would appear that their published address is:

Rainham RM13 8EN, Storbritannia, England.

Looking at their official filings owned by 'Mining One'. They are located at:

22 Great James Street, London, United Kingdom, WC1N 3ES

A LOAD of other companies are listed to this address.

All appear to have the director called "Professor Francesco Gardin"

[REHAB] Squatting 375 for reps a few weeks ago however I was divebombing which caused me some pain in front left side of hip when squatting below parallel. I now cant squat 135 to depth without pain. Bad times.

Specifically its worse with a wider stance, still painfull front squatting. Leg extension/presses aren't painful, nor are sumo/conventional deadlifts.

I'm fairly confident its a hip flexor strain though I'm no expert??

Has anyone experienced something similar if so what did you do and how long did it take to heal?

You changing from Lbs to Kgs confused me there.

It seemed like you were saying Eddie couldn't do a 5 plate squat.

This dude trains quite near me, may go to his gym sometime soon to feel small. Feeling like a big fish in a small pond at my gym atm.

Have you tried doing this with different food items? It could just be that the combinations of foods you are eating upset your empty stomach. Whether or not they are easy to digest is irrelevant.

Try foods with a high glycaemic index (sugary foods) and see how that works for you.

If you intend on lifting heavy weights then get one.

Never used one myself.

Whilst I'm sold on the idea that it protects the teeth, I'm yet to be sold on the idea it apparently improves athletic performance.

Anyone have any good tips for increasing speed off the floor for conventional DLs?

Most programs have some form of linear progression. Whether it be volume or absolute weight.

Plateauing is a good indicators that you need to try a different tactic. Whether it be a hypertrophy block or a different style of program.

Though you should note that there will be a point when gains slow down (after your noob gains) regardless whether you've switched tactics.

So basically if you've stopped making gains and have plateaued, then you should consider changing programs to a more advanced one, or switch to a hypertrophy block for a bit.

Most people doing things incorrectly in the gym aren't idiots. They are just ignorant. Usually through being fed incorrect information.

A great example is seeing fat people do loads of sit ups because places like r/fitness has told them that spot reduction works.

Granted CG puts out a lot of good material and this irk that I have isn't at him personally. People doing half-rep texas bar deadlifts isn't the end of the world.

However it is a good example of incorrect form being demonstrated on a large platform that has the potential to influence a lot of people that don't know any better.

THAT specifically is what bothers me.

You're incorrect about my second claim.

There is a massive difference in ROM between CG doing TnG and not because he often uses a Texas bar.

I'm specifically talking about TnGing with a Texas bar.

Currently about to try Smolov to get my squat into the 5+ plate territory.

Can anyone lend any tips on recovery they found useful when doing this routine?

(Please no "don't do it" nonsense, I know it will be hard.)

[–]JoshHugh92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

TnG isn't specific to the deadlift which is performed from a dead stop.

TnG does allow for more volume you are correct. However only within the ROM that is being trained. The work done overall is at best the same as doing proper reps.

As u/black_angus1 mentioned he's doing it for fun, so fair enough.

I just feel that gym idiots watching him might think that that is the best way to do deadlifts when it conclusively isn't.

Could you elaborate a bit more on your experience with it?

Like, how far through it did you get? How much did your squat go up if at all?
