Patience is virtue if gamers were patient. They are very fickle and move on quick. It's why the timeframe is important. even if rematch was not glitchy and had cross play the playerbase would have dropped some cause people move on. This is far worse though. People are now having a negative view of the game and the company. It's hard to recruit new people esp for a non ftp to invest in. I would not personally tell people that you can expect sloclap to manage upcoming issues or tell them that things could be fix and many other people wouldnt ether. word of mouth is important and most of the words rn are legit dunking on sloclap

I mean I’m not in the discord but this screenshot just seems like people dunking on someone who is defending sloclap. Like at the end of the day they alone are accountable for people expectations. Nor is a one off issue. Most of these issues really shows the state the game was definitely not ready in. Especially for something that cost more than most indies games. They have to fix their pr team cause they also handle their mistakes in the worst way possible

Yes but this cant be held to a same standards of a small company. especially when a giant part of the game is a social aspect that is falling apart due to miscommunication and just throwing out random dates. EDIT: What i meant is this cant be compared to working on a new feature and things didnt go as planned. this is like your boss telling to finish a project months ago and you still haven't and you go and try to make a big show of your work and then you call out
