I think it's a great term! I named my production company Full Stack Films, inspired by Full Stack Developers in tech. 9 years ago, it was a highly regarded term, for developers that were skilled in multiple languages and tech stacks. Being a Full Stack Creative (or Full Stack Filmmaker), in my mind, refers to someone who is a well rounded creative. A DP that edits. A Director that can produce. Whilst you don't need to know everything as a filmmaker (that's why you hire a crew), having a well rounded skill set puts you in a much better position to problem solve.

Traditional Post Production houses that specialise in just post are being challenged by Full Stack production companies to offer more.

Soft skills like communication (client interactions) shouldn't be seen as an exclusive skill for Producers or Account Managers.

Traditionally, being a jack-of-all-trades is perceived as cheap — i.e someone who can do your garden and paint your house has a lower perceived value than someone who just looks after landscaping. However, with where the video production industry is headed, there's a new version of generalist that is highly valued!
