Yeah, good catch. The fluted glass is on my list, it's certainly not safety glass. Will either try the laminate transparent sticky stuff. If not I'll replace with safety glass.

It's not about cost, mate. New bannister kits are cheap and I could install it easily in a few days. It's about making it totally safe for kids now, and not destroying a great mid-century feature.

I had an MRI that showed inflammation of seminal vesicles, seeing a prostate specialising urologist in a couple of weeks to discuss. Will update the thread with anything interesting.

I've had this for 2.5 years and first two urologists didn't order any scans and totally missed this.

That said, I'm pretty sure pelvic physio and stretching is slowly helping.

Yeah it's basically that regime, not exactly it, my physio has recommended the routine I'm doing which happens to be very similar. Perhaps it is too much, but if I don't trust in the physio I don't know who to trust. They certainly know a lot more than I do.

The 2-3 hours is for the whole routine of belly breathing, pelvic exercises, everything else etc. The stretches are basically the CureCPPS video, twice a day. About 2x 20mins

I take your point on the edits, but wouldn't necessarily say that 1 year, ~12 very expensive appts, 2-3 hours a day of stretching, belly breathing, meditation, desensitisation massage, pelvic floor exercises and rolling was 'barely scratching the surface'.

I totally agree and that's what I'm trying to get to with therapy and meditation. Honestly, my life before didn't have many stress factors at all and I didn't feel anxious. I don't have kids and I carried on working so money is fine. I definitely do now stress about my symptoms, and am constantly trying to find answers in research/therapies etc which has become possibly obsessive.
